Interior and exterior features

The long-wheelbase versions allow you room for suitcases and sports equipment. In addition, the new Trafic is equipped to move you and your passengers in style, whilst making your journey easier with a range of on-board technology.

Where the Trafic really excels is in cabin storage space. There are a variety of shelves, bins, cubbyholes and hidden cavities – 14 storage compartments in total – able to hold up to 90 litres’ worth of bits and bobs. In addition, Renault claims up to 1.8m3 of load space with all nine seats up.

Storage is comparable to the Ford Tourneo. However, the space is adaptable as the rear parcel shelves can be removed and the seat-backs on the third row of seats fold flat, extending that load space to 3.4m3. Furthermore, long items will slide under the seats along the length of the vehicle. There are plenty of grab handles too for those in the back to make access easier.

Two sliding side doors are provided, although entry to the third row is via the passenger side only. And if you’ve got really little ones to transport there are Isofix points for the outer seats of the second row.
