If the Cupra name sounds familiar, that’s because it was previously used for Spanish car manufacturer SEAT’s top of the range models. The Cupra brand was launched in 2018.
As a stand alone brand, it creates high-performance versions of SEAT’s popular road cars. The first car to be launched with the Cupra badge was the Ateca, a luxury SUV. Currently, Cupra also produces high-performance versions of SEAT’s Leon, Leon Estate and Formentor sports SUV. The 100% electric Cupra Born was released at the end of 2021 and with an impressive range of up to 335 miles, this sleek and sporty hatchback is kitted out with market-leading digital features.
