Kia XCeed car leasing is the choice for a driver who can’t choose between the practicalities of an SUV and the nippy speed and compact size of a hatchback.
Kia is the Seoul-based automotive company renowned for being the second biggest car manufacturer in South Korea (following the Hyundai Motor Company), having sold more than 2.8 million vehicles in 2019.
Fitting into the SUV/Crossover market, the Kia XCeed is an SUV-inspired hatchback; with chunkier bumpers, roof rails and higher clearance, this is a hatchback that can take whatever driving you want to throw at it. It’s basically a compact, urban crossover, ticking all your boxes. The XCeed has a bigger boot than the Ceed hatchback, but identical passenger space in the car’s interior. With the sportier handling typical to a hatchback, the XCeed also throws in soft suspension and dampers to make for a fun, but ultimately very comfortable, ride.
The standard 118bhp 1.0 T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine is perfect; you’ll never lag when pulling out into traffic and rarely have to severely moderate your driving and move down through the gears when going uphill either. With responsive steering and assured grip on the road, the XCeed is a front wheel drive with SUV confidence. Visibility is great, and a rear view camera as standard makes for easy parking.
Competitive models include the Toyota Corolla, if you’re happy to drop SUV looks for one of the most comfortable family cars.
