The Sports Utility Vehicle Seat Tarraco was named by the general public, after the old name for the Spanish city of Tarragona, just down the coast from Barcelona.
In the large SUV market, the Seat Tarraco offers the latest in innovative design and tech. Seven seats mean a really adaptable family vehicle, and this is the flagship SUV for Seat. If you were to venture beneath the exterior you’d find a very similar set up to the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, and similar to the Tiguan Allspace, the Tarraco is only available in 7 seater format in the UK market.
A six-speed manual gearbox along with front-wheel drive come as standard, and the firm suspension ensures that the Tarraco sucks up surface imperfections well, making for a smooth ride.
Seat was Spain’s first family car manufacturer and became part of the Volkswagen car family in the 1990s. Seat is design-led and is renowned for driving practicality and fun, in equal measure.
Seat Tarraco car leasing is a great choice for a family vehicle with variable driving needs - its light steering is as versatile threading through traffic as it is on motorway drives. A high drive position means you’ll look down on smaller SUVs and hatchbacks, and lots of adjustment options in the seat and steering wheel department make for a comfortable drive (with even adjustable lumbar support coming as standard). The dash is easy to use and logical.
Competitors like the Nissan X Trail Station Wagon offer five or seven seats, with light-touch steering and softened suspension, for all driving eventualities.
